Oral History 114: Mary Ottensmeyer, June 13, 2013, Seth DePasqual: Isle Royale National Park. horpe Langley's property near Scoville Point consisted of a main cottage, privy, and dock. The Langley's lived in Superior, Wisconsin. Details surrounding acquistion of the Langley property by the U.S. government are unclear. It is not known whether the Langley's accepted any agreement in exchange for their property. All structures were removed shortly after federal purchase.
